Manors at Central Park
Photos of the deteriorating base layer of asphalt on our roadways

"Alligatoring" - these cracks in the 2.5 inch thick
base layer of asphalt will eventually become potholes.

A pothole in the base layer of asphalt, surrounded by "alligator"
cracks.

Another developing pothole.

Chipped concrete curbing and alligator cracks in the base layer
of asphalt on the access drive.

Another view of the roadway in the previous photo showing a large
pothole that has been previously filled with "cold patch".

Cracked curbing that will have to be removed and replaced prior
to paving the final 1.5 inch thick layer of asphalt.

This catch basin cover sticks up 1.5 inches above the base layer
of asphalt on the private access drive.
It has been hit numerous times by snowplow blades.
Residents have to drive onto the adjacent grass to avoid hitting
the catch basin with their tires, which causes a muddy rut in the
lawn.
