Grace Grobbel

Grace Grobbel, 88, a lifelong Center Line resident, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, in Fraser Villa Nursing Home. She was born March 7, 1918, in Detroit.
Mrs. Grobbel retired as an executive secretary in the manufacturing industry. She was a member of St. Clement Church Rosary Altar Society and Legion of Mary. Her family described her as a phenomenal person with a great sense of humor.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Bill) Setzke and Sheila (Patrick) Sperti; sisters, Mary Thomas and Barbara Abel; and grandchildren, Mary Katherine Powers, Eric Thomas Pazzi and Thomas Sperti.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Clement Catholic Church, 25320 Van Dyke, Center Line.
Visitation is 2:30-9 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary recital at Ford Funeral Home, 26560 Van Dyke, Center Line. Additional visitation is 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.

Just wanted you to know that Mama went to the Lord at !:00
this Morning. She missed her 105th birthday. She always said she was going to make it to 105.She would have been 102 Dec.18th. She just went into a deep sleep when the Lord came and took her by the hand, Which she always prayed would happen.Mike I want to congradulate you on the beautiful work that you have done on our ancestry. I am so proud of you and all the hard work you have put into it, Beautiful!! I still go back and read it.
Well Mike going to let you go for now. My Sister Judy (Jerusha) and Isend our regards to Oz and all of the family.
Will be seeing you all next August.
