A truly special lady, who passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the age of 92. Margaret was a true warrior for her family and had a strength to be reckoned with. Her sense of family will live on through all of our hearts. She retired from Bower Roller Bearing (Federal Mogul) as the first female punch press operator after 32 years of service.Margaret was predeceased by her husband, George Svehla, siblings; Albert (Marie) DeLamielleure, Germaine (Guy) McNesky, Joe (May) DeLamielleure, Madeline ?Shorty? (Bill) Coussens, Charlie (Alvina) DeLamielleure, Mary ?Key? (Jack) Grobel, Betty (Robert) DeReadt, George (Bootie) DeLamielleure, Agnes (Clarence) Meerschaert, Julie DeLamielleure, Stanley (?Buka? (Naomie ?Chunky?) DeLamielleure, Robert ?Bobby? (Opal) DeLamielleure. She is survived by her sister Jeannie ?Laura? (the late Robert) Brown, daughter, Constance (the late Raymond) Shirey, Grandchildren; Craig (Donna) Brazelton, Murry (Jie)Brazelton, Nancy (Sean) Vondette, Lynda (Wayne) Gunckle, Nicole (Mark) Weiss, Shannon (Ron Jr.) Dreher and Greg Lewis. Great Grandchildren; Brad Lewis, Cameron & Taylor Brazelton, Emily & Jacob Weiss, Parker & Brody Dreher, Dylan Vondette, and Ethan and Eli Brazelton.

646. Robert Charles Grobbel

In December 1960, "Bob" was named to the High School football All-State Class B Second Team. He played guard for Ionia High School.

Robert was killed in an auto accident at M-45 and US-31 in Agnew, Grand Haven Township. Also killed was Sandra Fredericks, age 20, of Saranac, Michigan. Her brother, Keith Allen Fredericks, was driving and was charged with negligent homicide on Nov. 27, 1967, according to theNov. 28th edition of the Holland Sentinel newspaper. He was found guilty of the charge in a jury trial that concluded on Feb. 29, 1968 andsentenced on April 8th to pay a $1,500 fine plus court costs or servea six month jail sentence. He appealed the conviction, which was upheld by the Michigan Court of Appeal on or about March 15, 1971.
