Subject: obitMike, My Dad's sister, Marion Schlaud Fitzgerald died Monday and was buried to day. We just got home from Marion, IN, having gotten up thismorning at 5am.
The cemetery is in Wayne Twp., Huntington Co., IN. As you can see, there are a couple of misspellings. But, as they say, "Human Frailty Demands That Misteaks Will Be Made".

Marion A. Fitzgerald
Sept. 4, 1914 - Sept. 19, 2005Marion A. Fitzgerald, 91, died Monday in Lakeview Nursing Home, TawasCity, Mich. (Iosco Co.)
She was born in Michigan, the daughter of the late Anthony and Clematine (Robinette) Schlaud.
She married William Martin Fitzgerald. He preceded her in death Nov. 2, 1996.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oscoda, Mich., Rosary Society at St. Paul's and GM Sympathy Club.
Survivors include sons, Kim Fitzgerald, Oscoda, Mich., Dan Fitzgerald, Sodus, Mich., Joe (Maryanne) Fitzgerald, Marion, and Gary Fitzgerald, Waterford, Mich.; a daughter, Linda (Lyle) Harrison, Watervliet, Mich.; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Fitzgerald, Huntington; sisters, MildredSweeney and Francis Robertson, both of Michigan, and Rosemary (Wayne)Johnson, Battle Creek, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son, William Fitzgerald.
Services are at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 Kem Road, with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial is in Gardens of Memory cemetery, Huntington County.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Raven-Choate Funeral Home,1202 Kem Road, with a vigil is at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 Kem Road, Marion, Ind. 46952, or to the Sisters of St. Joseph.

Tricia Marie DeTavernier Trutwin, age 41, of 1305 Brown Road, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011.
Born December 29, 1969, in North Branch, MI, and was a daughter of the late Frederick DeTavernier and Theresa Schlaud DeTavernier. She wasa graduate of Clemson University and was formerly employed as a CNA at AnMed Health. Currently, she was employed by Garcia Chiropractic and was soon to pursue a medical degree. She was a supporter of FFA anda member of the American Microbiology Society. Mrs. Trutwin was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Roland Trutwin; son, Wesley Ryan Trutwin; daughter, Julia Marie Trutwin; mother, Theresa Schlaud DeTavernier; siblings: Robert Frederick DeTavernier, Randall Peter DeTavernier, Mary Terese Smith, Lori Ann Knox, and Michelle Kay Kemp; and beloved pets: Max & Chloe. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church celebrated by Father Paul Williams, OFM. Burial will follow in Old Stone Church Cemetery, near Clemson.
The family is at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 5pm until 7:30pm on Monday. Memorials may be made to the Trutwin Educational Account, c/o Palmetto Bank, 815 North Main Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
