HMC Robert M. Williamson,
USN (Ret.)
(1919-1980)
Robert served in Iceland from 01 OCT 1941
through 21 MAR 1942 as a Dental Technician
attached to the United States1st Marine Brigade (Provisional),
Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic Fleet.
Robert enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1938 and
received his Chief Hospital Corpsman (HMC) rating on 15 SEP 1943.
He retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1968. After retirement,
he served as a Public Health Officer in Des Moines, Iowa.
